Griefers

Someone, usually in an online game, who intentionally, and usually repeatedly, attempts to degrade anothers experience or torment them.

Examples of griefing:

1. Player vs player abuse: Singling out the same person and killing them over and over when they are defensless until hey log off.

2. Kill stealing: Repeatedly trying to steal another persons kills so that their time is wasted.

3. Verbal abuse: Spamming a person with vulgar, hatefull, or offensive messages.

4. Blocking: Getting in anothers way so they cannot move or get out of a particular area. (welding people behind doors)

5. "Training": Triggering many monsters, almost always impossible to fight and survive, with the intention to either run someone out of an area or kill them indirectly if the server is not 'player vs player' enabled.

6.Weapon Steals: intentionally picking up other weapons an not giving it back.

7. Team killing: intentionally killing members of your team for a laugh or to get their equipment

8. Spawn camping, and spawn killing: self explanitory and doesnt show your skill, just shows you are cheap!

9. Server Slot wastage: taking up a server slot and being inactive, whilst someone could be playing and actually helping a team win.
Not playing? GET OUT!

10. Dogpiling: Getting a group of people together to single out one person and killing them over and over, until they quit.

There are more, but you get the gist of it.



We've all seen it, some of us have even done it, but the codex is
being updated to include the code of conduct on our servers and
online gaming in general.

Myself, Buzz and B-2 use our own money and resources to provide
a free service for pure entertainment to the public in general and
abusing that free service is an insult to our generous nature.

SO..........

IF you or anyone in our servers are caught griefing, they will get 3
strikes and your banned.

So you get 3 strikes (warnings), then a 10 minute Ban

Caught again after the ban, a 10 hour ban will be issued.

3rd time a 24 hour ban.

and after that there will be no point playing on our servers.

Dont worry this is not being issued at anyone in particular, just setting
the ground rules, so no slip ups are made.

This goes for all our WPC members and ANYONE using our servers.

If you see someone doing the aforementioned dirty deed, then let a
server admin or a council member know and they will be dealth with.

It's being a bad boy on purpose mac

It is deliberately ruining the game on other players, whether it's team killing, welding doors in killing floor, stealing weapons, repeated offensive material and just being nasty that will impede the playing of other players

So as thomas said, tell him, buzz and b2 so they can get them out of the servers :)
