Hello fellow wolf pack members. Tonight was quite an eventful night for me. I work at a UPS hub on 19th street in Harrisburg PA. I work the twilight shift so i get off of work around 10:00 every night. For those of you who don't know what kind of city Harrisburg is, it is a shitty dangerous place after dark. Its the Capitol of Pennsylvania and although it is the capitol city it only has some 85000 residents who live inside the city (i don't even live in the city i only go to college and work there) and the crime rate in the city is worse than Philadelphia. Anyways let me get to the IRL story (wasn't sure where to post this because its not a game or fantasy story) i was coming home from work tonight and i had to stop for gas, so i stopped at a Gulf on the intersection of Arsenal Blvd. and Herr street. It was after hours so only a few of the parking lot lights are on around the pumps. So i begin pumping my gas here and im the only person around, and a half white/black gentleman approaches me at the pump. He asks me if he can bum a cig so i give him one. he sticks it behind his ear and starts making small talk, asking me my name and where i worked and shit. So as im turning around from the pump to face, him again he proceeds to tell me to "Give me everything you have" I was shocked and i didn't know what to do, this fellow was no bigger than i and he looked a good bit sicker, like a heroin addict(im in an DUAL IOP program courtesy of the state so im familiar with a few such people)anyways this all happens in only a few second and without thinking i punch this fucking derelict asshole in his throat. He goes down without a word, just gasping for his next breath and he was just making the most god awful gurgling sound, then i quickly jump in my car lock the doors and drive away. I called my dad immediately after only to get bitched at, him telling me that the cash in my wallet wasn't worth getting stabbed over. I'm glad I did what i did.

Holy wow, I'm glad you got the drop on him! He could very well have even pulled out a syringe and threatened you with it for all we know...! I used to live near a city for a spell that had problems like that. At least you don't have to worry about needles being stuck in the handles at the pumps!

hey thanks shea. Yeah the city here is going into the shitter. And wow i cant believe that people put their dirty needles in places like that to stick people. Thats a great way to get hepatitis or AIDS

Each new generation spawns more violent people than the last.
Luckily, i live in the north suburbs and we don't have such high crimes rate yet.
It is really bad to see where we are heading as civilization.

That is why I have one of these in my pants every where I go.

I live in PA aswell but in Beaver County. Harrisburg is about 5 hours away from me, Pittsburgh is like an hour or so away so i know how Harrisburg is pretty much shit so im not really suprised u almost got mugged my good man.

Yeah i know what yall mean. When i turn 21 and after i get off of ARD im going to apply for my concealed carry permit, so i can carry a firearm when i go to work in the city.
