My H80 will probably not even use the fans that come with it, but the CM sickleflow red led ones, depending on the noise / performance.
Also, both stock H80 or CM sicleflow fans will go into a Y-connector to my fancontroller indeed.

That should work out for you as well actually.
Reason both fans go trough the Y-connector into the same fancontroller channel is to give them both same RPM's at all times.

This way i can create what i have now in my current rig as well, control over all 7 fans (GPU and CPU included)

for a fancontroller i can recommend the Scythe Kaze Q8, because its small and cheap but still well built.

Ok then did some shopping again, but not everything was in the store so i gotto go back another time lol.
Need to go back anyways to return the watercooler since it won't rly fit to my liking.

My plan was to mount it on the sidepanel, only the double layer of mesh dint let trough enough air.



To dense, good for keeping out dust, bad for letting in air.



Remove one layer and it looks a whole lot better :D



The panel is actually upside down here, but the 2 fans are right across the videocard.



As you can see, it wont even fit using a single fan, since its hitting the videocard.
A push pull config is out of the question as well then, so my only option was fitting it in the back.
There, it would block off other stuff so i think im going for the H100 instead, in the sidepanel again.
I measured and that should actually fit on the mm lol, even in a push/pull setup yay!
My only worry is if i can get the tubes reach to the sidepanel :/
Oh btw, the stock fans are noisy as hell!, used my custom ones instead.

Lol, you see what i mean, all though that last video your h80 still doesnt sound as loud as my h100 on high, when that gets hot those fans sound like the case is gona take off lol.
Sucks that the H80 doesnt fit and I think you have a point about the tubes being a pain if you mount to the side panel.
The CM mouse is really pretty though I like it alot.

Ill be trading the h80 in for a h100 when i return to the shop.
Im sure that will fit even on the sidepanel, since the h80's tubes are shorter since its designed only to go at the back of a case.
Even if the h100 does not fit in the sidepanel i can also mount it vertical using the cool air from the front fans.
Ill have to make custom brackets but it will fit
This of course with the red led cooler master sicklefan fans from the vid and not the turbine ones lol
I dun even wanna think of how the h100 would sound like with 4 fans on max :/

Tic, i can asure you the mouse holds just as nice as it looks :D

Buzz, i picked this drive out of a big list lol
Of course keeping in mind the max speed my mobo can offer, and it has 64mb memory to actually.

The only difference between the green and the black is it has lower RPM.

green.................V/S....................black

64mb cache...................................64mb cache

5400 rpm max...............................7200 rpm
500gb............................................1000gb

Im not afraid about the lower rpm actually, since i found this on techreport.com:

"To be fair, the Caviar GP's performance was surprisingly good for a drive whose platters spun at close to 5,400RPM. In some tests, it was even faster than terabyte drives spinning at a full 7,200RPM."

The reason why i picked only 500gb in size is because i got a 250 gb drive rite now with all my games on it,
and i've never managed to fill that up far over half its size.
So yeah terrabyte disks rly aint my thing or need atm ;)

Really? I have two TBs and I'm over half full.

I think mechanical HDDs are still expensive at the moment, they have come down, but still abit too much for me to buy a 2TB. Im running on three gutted HDDs two from a laptop and one from my broke ps3.

Lol i messed around with my current setup and the C: drive i got now is a 60 gig HDD,
so go figure how old that is lol
That was only 65% full as well since i only use my C: drive for windows and programs, not games.
My old games drive is 250 gig and that was half full as well, so i should be good with the new 500 gig lol

The reson i wanted this upgrade is to gain a lil boost on accessing files.
That plus they are making more noise than they should, including random head freakouts and clicking sounds.
Sometimes you just know you gotto renew ur stuff or ull lose ur stuff, ur choice.

PS: the reason i don't need terrabytes is because this pc is just for games only.
Got another pc for emails and downloads n stuff ;)
