Delicate situation indeed. Hence why we also made the terms on who gets in yes or no very clear to all now. We want a certain balance within the clan, and make it feel like a second home for the old and new members. If we feel someone doesnt fit in this picture, or causes disturbance/inbalance within the group, we can't let the person in the clan. And if we feel the person just needs that extra boost and he's there, were willing to make an exeption and guide the member...to a certain extend.(only on very rare exceptions) As we are no babysitters.
No doubt we had members in the past that maybe needed the guidance, but never made this clear to the council. Thats just the way things go i'm afraid, as we are all humans.
This has nothing to do with sexuality or race offcourse. It's only to preserve our intimacy as a clan. We do not want to be the biggest clan in the world, we want to be the best clan in the world.
When applicants get refused they should ask themselves if this is the clan they want to be a part of. Do they fit in. And when they re-apply, have they changed their bahaviour compared to prior applications. Do they feel they have changed to fit in with the clan more. We can't ban these applicants from the site or servers, nor do we want to, but the applicant itself must see that staying maybe harmfull in the long run....or for the better as he or she changed its way of communicating with the members.
It all sounds like elitism, but I assure you its not. We want everyone, old and new, to fit the clan. Regardless of their personal situations. We play games with the members, have a good time. There's little room for Politics / EMO'ism / Hatred / Religion. We might get drunk once in a while and spew shit in TS, but in the end it all comes to one thing....are you a gamer we want to spend time with, and do you get accepted within the group. Council observes these things, and passes judgement. It's how the system works. This will never change.
Now this isnt the thread to discuss this offcourse. But I felt it needed to be said. The WPC is going back to simpler times, were we know and love each member, instead of racking up the numbers, memberwise.
I hope you understand our views a bit better now.
