Would you buy the StandAlone version?
Me personally...in a flash.. I prob give Dean a copy too, as he was so generous to gift Arma II. This is one of those mods that will probably explode into something even more brilliant. What would you do if you bought Arma II for DayZ? ----------------

I don't know myself. I mean I did just buy ARMA2:OA to play it. But no doubt I'd end up getting it just to get in on the fun with everyone else. ---------------- Lair Keeper - Long Fang - Pack Keeper

Re: Would you buy the StandAlone version?
What I really don't understand is that this is like the game i've been waiting for my whole life, Why the hell has one only just come out now!? As a mod too! Game development makes no sense these days. Or should I say these Dayz ---------------- "Fighting was the only thing... the only thing I was good at. Depends on what would get changed etc. And if it's going to be on the same engine, the price.

Re: Would you buy the StandAlone version?
Watching several Dayz videos as well as seeing the interest the clan members have shown to the mod, i got interested in buying ARMA too, but was unlucky and missed the summer sale and wasn't positive at buying full price a game only for the mod However if Dayz gets to see the light of day as a standalone, complete game, i will most probably get it without waiting for a sale ^^

Re: Would you buy the StandAlone version?
mmmmm I probably would buy a stand alone DayZ. Every single friggin time I go into TS its loaded with people babbling about it. And I hear Arma2 on its own isn't that exciting. But how much would you charge for a mod of a game? I mean I know Killing Floor set a precedent for that, but they don't really seem comparable quite yet. ---------------- It's a Squash! I swear!

I think cs was more a precedent than killing floor though.
