Since the DeadSpace server is very successful, perhaps a Halo mod would make WPC more popular? It's just a suggestion.

Also "assorted alien critters" just isn't as exciting as "horribly disfigured walking corpses with pointy things sticky out of them"

To make a mod that not only looks like halo, but also Feels like halo, would need the inculsion of several mechanics, such as recharging shields, jumping at a height of over your own fellows, plasma physics for the halo weapons, and many more.

Unfortunately that is a ridiculous amount of work, when you could just urm, play halo. lol

i am a huge halo fan. but id sy the job would be too large to be successful in all honesty, and it wouldnt have the same feeling.

As in Dead Space isn't the same. TBH, the Halo mod can finish in several stages, you know, like finish up the zeds and the weapons in the first stage and then the GUI in the second stage.

Easy as that huh?

Why not do it yourself then?

The KF community should stop with this "can you make me this" attitude. All the ideas have been opted, and people are starting to fck arround with the mods themselves anyway. (making the entire community 1 big clusterfuck of mismatches)

Im losing interest in the game every day now, due to these idiots not renaming packages. When im joining servers in the big list ingame it only gives me mismatches (7-10 servers I join).

That alone will tell you whats going on, and why modding has gotten less interessting for people like me. The community is making a mess of things, and the people that mod are leaving the sinking ship.

I once started on a Halo mod, and its not that hard to find the resources to do this yourself. Good luck and if you need help you know were to find us.
