ALIENS Server files stolen
It looks like Shea spotted a RPG server running the Aliens mod. Somehow they plucked it from our servers. What a shame...I was looking foreward to finishing this one day...

It's ok, it's running the RPG mod, so we all know only the same people play it and go afk, probablly don't even know there are xeno's.

Whisky has a point,an RPG server can't be compared to the way you will use them in our servers  . But still, stealing stuff is overwhelmingly annoying  !

I don't get it, someone stealing copies of files from mods you make as a hobby and host for free means you are angry at the whole internet and will move on to some other project, abandoning the one that someone stole copies of?

Server was locked down for a reason..the mod wasnt finished. Hence its bad as some are using files that arent done or represent us in a bad way. And taking credit for it. They somehow bypassed the password and downloaded the files. If people keep stealing and taking credit for our work we might aswell quit modding all together. Its starting to get useless and not worth the trouble anymore.

Chances are that someone who was invited pulled the files out of their cache, the server while passworded was frequented a fair bit.

lol just found out, I have actually been a proper member here for the past 2 years, just not as active as I should have been but that's allll gonna change.
Thanks for the mod appreciation, that's exactly what a modder likes to hear, that someone is enjoying them.
