Hey everyone, rookie here. Its been a while since I've played on the servers or talked much on Teamspeak. Been busy with life in general. Just doing a check in to let you know that I'm still alive. Might try and stop in on a KF server tonight, if I can pull myself away from my umpteenth play-through of S.T.A.L.K.E.R - Clear Sky.

I've yet to play Clear Sky, but I loved Shadow of Chernobyl so maybe I should try it.

CS is way more human on human combat, you barely will encounter any mutants. Its very good game but it kinda differs from SoC's feeling and atmosphere.

I really enjoy clear sky because of the faction wars. Since you haven't played it I wont spoil it for you, but its FUN.

Now im playing SoC with Oblivion Lost mod on. Some scary shit goes down at night, like 3 burers and 2 chimeras trying to gang-rape you while at the exact same time a military helicopter can swoop in and take pot-shots at you and the mutants. Ahh so much fun :D

Call of Pripyat isn't really my cup of tea. It has too many inconsistencies and it feels like they just couldn't think up a full story so they "let you decide how to play". More like "Lets be lazy and give them 100000 sidequests and 4 main quests to do"It does still have it's moments and has a small corner to itself in my heart.

Still, overall one of my favourite ever game franchises. S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 has been announced.... I nerded all over the floor, it was messy.

- greatly rebuild AI and a life - you can meat any mutant in any zone. you will see different mutant AI behaviors - atttacking stalker camps, going alone, forming packs etc. Stalker AI rebuild including - way more aggressive and accurate, choose weapons by situation, use grenades, heal fallen teammates etc.
- difficulty greatly increased in the sake of more realistic experience - even on lowest diff you die from 1-2 shots.
- you can loot money from dead bodies
- great number of new items added to the game - TV, playable guitar, harmonic, playboy magazines, sleeping bag and many other
- The Collector game mode - you play as the Collector - great STALKER who have the ability to see where the rare artifacts are placed. You can play either his story or default story for Shadow of Chernobyl.
- main quest extended - added new quests filling the plot holes. The vanilla quests are not touched.

Lol definately downloading. Oblivion Lost was a pain in the ass to get working and wasn't even that great. Cant wait to play this.
