Well to start off, howdy!

My name is Anthony and im applying to become a new member of your clan. I have recently left my old clan GBR - Great Brittish REDgiment, beacuse of the fact i was getting treated bad and was turning into a very unplesent place to be.
i was looking at some AVP news on google when i came across this clan, and read a post that someone had put up. after reading the post i decided to join when i bumped into Blaze and Hemi (kind of butted into there conversation haha) how rude of me sorry. Just the general greeting i got off them two was enough for me to see that this place is alot more plesent than my old clan!

Well enough of me rambling on like a school girl in a playground, i'll tell you a little bit about my story (but feel free to ask me any questions you may have).
Im currently working for Travis Perkins as a IT Logistics Administrator, so im dealing with computers all the time. Im a very avid gamer who likes a challengde. Currently the new AVP game has court my eye and im playing many hours of it! but i also like to play other games and like to get stuck right in with other avid/clan members and games.

im willing to participate in anything that will make the clan better, stronger and hopefully along the line learn new things from other members.

the main platform i roll on is xbox but i do have a PS3 and pc at my hands too. really i am mainly a stratergy/RPG gamer but i done also like the beat em ups and 1st person shooters. im also hoping that if i get into this clan there will be some or alot of involement in online clan warz etc etc.

well i hope i have said enough and have pleased everyone anough to get into your community and i hope to hear a good feedback after the form have all been read and accounted for.

Why I fired my Secretary

Last week was my birthday and
I didn't feel very well waking up on that morning.

I went downstairs for breakfast
hoping my wife would be pleasant and say,
'Happy Birthday!',
and possibly have a small present for me.

As it turned out,
she barely said good morning,
let alone
' Happy Birthday.'

I thought....

Well, that's marriage for you,
but the kids...
They will remember.


My kids came bounding down stairs to breakfast
and didn't say a word.
So when I left for the office,
I felt pretty low
and somewhat despondent.

As I walked into my office,
my secretary Jane said,
'Good Morning Boss,
and by the way
Happy Birthday !
It felt a little better
that at least someone had remembered.

I worked until one o'clock,
when Jane knocked on my door
and said, 'You know,
it's such a beautiful day outside,
and it is your Birthday,
what do you say we go out to lunch,
just you and me?
I said, 'Thanks, Jane,
that's the greatest thing
I've heard all day.
Let's go !'

We went to lunch.
But we didn't go
where we normally would go.
She chose instead a quiet bistro
with a private table.
We had two martinis each
and I enjoyed the meal tremendously.

On the way back to the office,
Jane said, 'You know,
It's such a beautiful day...
We don't need to go straight back to the office,
do we ?'

I responded,
'I guess not.
What do you have in mind ?'
She said,
'Let's drop by my apartment,
it's just around the corner.'

After arriving at her apartment,
Jane turned to me and said,
' Boss, if you don't mind,
I'm going to step into the bedroom
for just a moment.
I'll be right back.'
'Ok.' I nervously replied.

She went into the bedroom and,
after a couple of minutes,
she came out
carrying a huge birthday cake ...
followed
by my wife,
my kids,
and dozens of my friends
and co-workers,
all singing 'Happy Birthday'.


And I just sat there....

On the couch...

Which platform are you playing AVP on?

Also to get in to the all you have to do is be active, so hang around the website and make some post. Every sunday we have a newsletter which says whos got in the clan. I think you might have just missed this weeks vote (wednesdays is always the worst day to join )
If you need any help joining or have any more questions just give me a shout and il help you out

Think he mentioned hes on all 3 platforms, but didnt say which he is going to play avp on or other games he plays - guess this is general membership (non-game specific).

I shall be playing AVP on xbox, also play Cod MW2. As for PS3 its mainly fifa, Metal Gear and for PC its warcraft.

But i shall be on AVP for the xbox this evening and gamer tag is Cooper jus...

i got fifa 10 for PS3 will have to go for a game....tho i'm crap lost 175 games i won 70.......
