OOOOO whilst im here what are people thoughts on what I should buy first a SSD or a mechanical HDD?
I was thinking of getting a SSD first, but im running out of space on my 2 temporary drives real quick so now i was thinking at getting a mechanical first? not sure.

I would recommend refitting the H100 block then.
Just so you know, some CPU's might only use one core if windows is just running in idle to save energy.
Depends on the mobo, CPU type and windows / software settings and what ur doing on the pc.
My core readings also are a few degrees off compared to the other cores.
Only way to know is to check :)

If ur running out of space then obviously you want a regular HDD.
So that sounds like a upgrade you will have to do soon anyways.
If you go for a 1Tb drive you will have plenty of room for a fresh windows install and the rest of ur stuff.

This since a SSD is not going to be a option finacially since they are a dollar for every Gb lol

So i'd say u'd get what ColonelMyth picked: HDD
Has all the right numbers, assuming ur mobo supports SATA 3 transfer speeds?
Lateron you can get a small SSD like i did if needed.

Just remember Tic m8 SSD is very very Fast,I have 2 OCZ 60 GIG SSD in RAID 0 and it made a windows rating of 7.7 on the drive test but remember is only 120 gig :( - if u opt for a pair of 10,000 rpm drives in RAID 0 u will get a speedy and size worthy drive that will go the distance.

Right so il go with a mechanical drive first.
I was hoping for 1tb at least, i dont think id be able to afford a 10,000 rpm drive, i was thinking of one of these 2:-

The seagate has bigger space but the WD has more positive comments? not sure which to go with.

Would be a easy pic on the HDD for me, the 2 Tb one lol.
About the SSD, i ended up with the Force GT because it had the highest numbers at that point.
The one you picked has slightly lower numbers but it has double the storage capacity.
In the end its all about what you personally need tho :)

I have a pair of those WD 1tb 64mb in RAID 0 and they do great,
what ever drive u do get u should Set up a RAID 0 as it will dramatically increase performance.

@ xeno the Reads and write speeds on the force gt are insane --me like alot

Tic, mind you my SSD is only for windows, al my games and steam are on a HDD like you pointed out only smaller cap.
I'm not running any HDD's i raid either and i can stull run everything run maxed out.

Would love to get a Force GT but like you said it costs more money then the samsung.
You never know though, by the time ive saved up for a SSD those prices might have come down abit more fingers crossed.
Dont suppose any one could recommend any HDD brackets/cage that goes in the optical bay?

Actually i can since i used 3 of those in the 2 main pc's and they work great.
Since i wanted my air intakes clear i decided not to block them off with HDD's
but move them to the optical bays area with these:

One tip if you get these tho, make sure to tighten the rubber thingy's to the metal plate, since they tend to be loose for some reason.
Also when screwing into the rubber mounts, make sure to hold the rubber mounts or else they might screw off the metal plate again :/

Those adapters look awesome, cheap aswell, but every where is out of stock except for a german amazon seller who wants alot for them.
Argh that sucks they look really nice aswell, will just have 2 keep looking.
